Peter Treiber Biography | Portfolio
Since 1983 Peter has maintained a commercial photography business in Bethlehem, and continued photographing Bethlehem Steel as a contract photographer. Peter is a General Member and past Chapter President of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP). He is also a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). Peter's commercial work has been published nationally and internationally. Exhibitions of his photography have been at the Bethlehem Arts Council, the Freedman Gallery at Albright College, the Hypno Gallery, the Iacocca Gallery at Lehigh University, Kutztown University, the Payne Gallery at Moravian College, and by the ASMP Central Pennsylvania and the ASMP Philadelphia. Peter is currently represented by the Dakota Ridge Gallery in Jim Thorpe, PA. The work in this exhibit of Bethlehem Steel operations, over twenty years, was created with Hasselblad cameras on color transparency and some color and B&W negative film and printed on Crane Silver Rag paper with Symphonic archival pigments. All of the photographs were made for the use of Bethlehem Steel to their specifications, but some of them have never been published. |
