Shelley Tate Garner Biography | Portfolio
throughout her High School years. Graduating with academic honors and the highest level of art recognition from Durant High School in 1998, she pursued art as a profession by furthering her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. In December 2002, she graduated from Southeastern with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude specializing in painting and ceramics. Since 2002, Shelley has participated in a number of public art showings and demonstrations throughout the southern Oklahoma/north Texas region. Her love for the arts led her to Denison, Texas and its growing art community in 2003. Garner currently teaches private art lessons, and actively participates in the Denison art community as a picture framer, gallery owner/director, and professional artist. |
