Nathaniel is a glass sculptor inspired by the contact between the natural and man-made worlds. His sculptures, primarily in clear blown and cast glass, are an observation of this sometimes subtle interaction. The "Ascension Vessel" series are fragile, delicate, and precariously balanced pieces, representative of Nathaniel's observations on life's journey. His new works are a series of platters focusing on industrial equipment and imagery. These wall hanging pieces are bold, colorful and make a statement about man-made objects that become part of our everyday surroundings. Nathaniel is currently Director of Studio Activities at the Goggleworks Center for the Arts. |
